The Adaptation Options page allows you to create and modify adaption planning options, view how they perform, and select a preferred adaptation option. The Asset Risk Cost chart shows the total risk cost for all assets and hazards selected for this project.
There are two types of adaptation
(1) AVOID the exposure, e.g. raising assets off the ground, or
(2) REDUCE the vulnerability, e.g. waterproofing electrical components.
To start a new adaptation, select the "Add new option" button.
Scroll through the library of typical actions and select an action by clicking the APPLY button. This will ask you to select assets to apply the action to, to select a year for the action to take place, and to enter a CAPEX (CAPital EXpenditure) or OPEX (Operation EXpenditure) for the action.
OPTIONAL: The asset age or remaining life can be modified by pressing the button RESET ASSET AGE (which will set the asset age to 0) and then entering the asset age.
RUN the adaptation option by entering a NAME and then press ANALYSE ADAPTATION OPTION.
