Archetype

Archetype

Archetypes are used in the analysis to group like assets and build a picture of the make up of the asset.

The archetypes are created using engineering information including; as constructed and specification diagrams.

Each archetype has a set of images that represent a common picture of the asset class. The archetype diagram also points out key elements (roof, floor, external wall, electrical etc.), their heights and/or materials.
