Adding an Action

New action for adaptation library

To create a new action, press the NEW ACTION button. This will open the ADAPTATION ACTION CREATOR. The Adaptation Action Creator illustrates all of the possible changes that can be made to an asset’s characteristics in AdaptInfrastructure, and allows you to alter existing actions and to create a new action.

To start using the Adaptation Action Creator, name the action. The name should be brief. You can add a description just below the name. Only select one modification per action – do not create an action with multiple changes, as this is the role of the tool’s options creator.

Once you are done, click on the SAVE button at the bottom of the page and navigate back to the Adaptation Options Library. Your new action will be available to select from the library to apply to your assets.
