The international Climate Risk Registers bring together a collection of identified risks, in an online, catalogued and searchable format. You can search by hazard or area of the organisation impacted. Where available, you can see what Climate Adaptation Actions have been associated by other users with these risks. At this point time, there are three Risk Registers available.
Preparing local communities, community organisations and not for profit groups for the risks they could face from extreme weather hazards.
Helping to identify risks that our local governments are facing from extreme weather and climate change hazards, collectively and individually.
This is focused on water utilities around the world and the risks they face from extreme weather hazards and climate change.
The Adaptation Register collates international and national adaptation strategies across all three of the risk register sectors, to provide one repository for multiple sources of adaptation.
Our international climate adaptation registers catalogue hundreds of climate adaptation registers, identified in reports, journals, academic literature, and published by leading organisations in each sector.
Every adaptation action is catalogued in terms of the climate driver, the area of an organisation that would implement that adaptation and the nature of the action e.g. vulnerability reduction, risk management, exposure reduction etc.
The adaptation register helps the climate professional to be aware of fast access known adaptation actions to deal with prevalent risks and to share new adaptation actions with the community of users.
